Description

A 3/4″ 45° Street Elbow is a high-pressure directional fitting used to create a “kick” or a slight angle change in a plumbing run. The “Street” designation means it features one Male (MPT) end and one Female (FPT) end, allowing it to thread directly into a port or another fitting without needing a separate nipple.

At 2000 PSI, this is an industrial-grade fitting typically made from forged carbon steel, designed for high-pressure hydraulic or fluid transfer applications.

Key Features

  • 45-Degree Angle: Provides a gentler turn than a standard 90° elbow, which reduces flow turbulence and pressure drop—critical for high-velocity systems.

  • Male x Female (Street) Design: The Male Pipe Thread (MPT) end screws into a manifold or pump, while the Female Pipe Thread (FPT) end accepts the next pipe or hose barb. This saves space and reduces the number of leak points.

  • 2000 PSI Working Pressure: This rating indicates a high-pressure forged fitting (often a 2000# or 3000# class). It is built to withstand the intense hydraulic shocks and pressures found in heavy machinery and industrial pressure washing.

  • Zinc or Phosphate Coating: Most high-pressure carbon steel fittings are plated to prevent external rust, though they are not as corrosion-resistant internally as stainless steel when used with harsh chemicals.
