Description
This is a high-pressure forged fitting designed for the “working end” of a pressure system. Rated at 4000 PSI, this elbow is built to handle the extreme hydraulic shocks and high-velocity flow found in professional pressure washing and hydraulic machinery.
Key Features
-
Forged Construction: Unlike standard cast fittings (which can have internal air bubbles or “voids”), this elbow is forged from solid steel. This makes it significantly stronger and ensures it won’t burst under high-pressure spikes.
-
45-Degree Bend: This provides a “long-sweep” transition. It is much better for flow efficiency than a 90-degree turn and is often used to kick a high-pressure hose away from a pump frame or hot engine muffler at a slight angle.
-
3/8″ FPT (Female Pipe Thread): This is the industry standard size for high-pressure discharge. It matches the most common pressure washer hoses, spray guns, and unloader valve ports.
-
4000 PSI Working Pressure: Specifically rated for high-duty cycles. While 3000# class fittings are standard, a 4000 PSI rating provides an extra margin of safety for 3500 PSI machines.
