A Push-On Hose Barb Swivel is a specialized two-piece fitting that allows the hose connection to rotate independently of the threaded end. This is a “problem-solver” fitting in fluid systems, as it prevents hose twisting and kinking during installation and operation.

• Swivel Action: The 1/4″ MPT threaded base can be tightened into a port while the 3/8″ barb remains stationary (or vice versa). This is vital for connecting a hose to a fixed manifold where you can’t spin the entire hose length to thread it in.

• “Lock-On” Barb Design: Specifically engineered for Push-on / Lock-on rubber hoses (like Parker Push-Lok). The aggressive barbs grip the inner braid of the hose, eliminating the need for traditional hose clamps.

• Dual Size Transition: This fitting acts as a reducer, transitioning from a larger 3/8″ ID hose to a smaller 1/4″ NPT port. This is common for connecting main supply lines to smaller accessories like pressure gauges or 1/4″ valves.
