The Float and Stainless Steel Needle Valve assembly for the Honda GX240 (8 HP) through GX390 (13 HP) series is the “filling station” of the carburetor. Because these large-displacement engines consume fuel at a much higher rate than the smaller GX160/200 series, this assembly is designed to handle higher flow volumes while maintaining a rock-steady fuel level in the bowl to prevent “starving” during high-torque demands.
