The Everflo EF5500 is a high-capacity 12V diaphragm pump designed for heavy-duty spraying applications. As the largest model in the Everflo line, it is engineered for users who need maximum volume—5.5 GPM—to power larger spray booms or high-volume spray wands.

• 5-Chamber Design: Unlike smaller 2 or 3-chamber pumps, the EF5500 uses a 5-chamber displacement system. This results in a much smoother flow with significantly less pulsation and “thumping” in the lines.

• High-Flow Ports: To handle the 5.5 GPM volume, this pump features 1/2″ NPT ports. This larger diameter is critical to prevent inlet restriction and cavitation.

• Heavy-Duty Motor: The motor is equipped with an internal fan and a robust housing to manage the heat generated by the 17-Amp draw. It is designed for increased durability during long workdays.

• Chemical Compatibility: Features Viton valves and a Santoprene™ diaphragm, making it highly resistant to corrosive agricultural chemicals like Roundup (glyphosate), liquid fertilizers, and most “soft wash” bleach solutions.

• Honeywell Micro Switch™: The integrated demand switch automatically manages the pump operation based on discharge pressure, turning off at 60 PSI and restarting when flow resumes.
