Description
The General Pump Kit 169 (also known as K169) is the complete check valve replacement set for the heavy-duty TSF Series (66 Series) triplex plunger pumps. These are high-flow, high-pressure pumps typically found on industrial pressure washers and custom truck-mounted rigs.
Kit Features
-
Full Set of 6: This kit contains all six valve assemblies—three for the suction side and three for the discharge side—providing a complete “wet end” valve overhaul in one package.
-
Stainless Steel Construction: Designed for high-flow durability, these valves are built to withstand the intense cycling of pumps rated up to 25 GPM or 3,600 PSI.
-
OEM Precision: Being a genuine GP/Interpump kit ensures the spring tension is exactly calibrated for the TSF series’ specific stroke and displacement.
Compatibility
The Kit 169 is the standard valve kit for the TSF 66 Series, including:
-
TSF1819, TSF2019, TSF2021
-
TSF2219, TSF2221
-
TSF2421
-
TSF2819
-
Interpump Models: HTF2018S, HTF2221S, HTF2421S
Kit Contents
One Kit 169 is required per pump rebuild. It includes:
| Quantity | Part Number | Component |
| 6 | 36712701 | Complete Valve Assemblies (Cages, Springs, Seats, and Valves) |
| 6 | 701115 | Valve O-Rings (to seal the valve into the manifold) |
When to Replace These Valves
-
Pressure Drop: If your pump is running at full RPM but your gauge shows a sudden 20–30% drop in PSI.
-
Significant Vibration: If the high-pressure hose is “shaking” or jumping, it usually means one of the six valves is stuck or broken, causing an unbalanced flow.
-
Failure to Prime: If the pump won’t pull water from a buffer tank, the suction valves are likely pitted or dirty.
-
Hammering Noise: A loud knocking sound inside the brass manifold often indicates a broken valve spring or a shattered valve cage.
