Description

The General Pump Kit 100 is a specialized “Hot Packings” kit designed for pumps with 20mm plungers. While standard NBR (Buna-N) seals are usually rated for temperatures up to 160°F, Kit 100 uses Teflon/Kevlar reinforced materials specifically engineered to handle constant temperatures up to 185°F (85°C).

This kit provides the seals for all three (3) cylinders.

Kit 100 is the high-temperature upgrade/replacement for most 20mm GP and Interpump models, including:

• T Series (Standard): T1011, T1311, T1511, T2011, T911, T9211.

• TS Series (Standard): TS1011, TS1311, TS1511, TS2011.

• Common Brands: This is a staple kit for professional carpet cleaning machines and hot-water industrial pressure washers.

Why Use High-Temp Seals?

Standard seals soften and fail quickly when exposed to hot water. You need Kit 100 if:

• Carpet Cleaning: You are running a truck-mount or portable unit with an internal heater.

• Industrial Hot Water Wash: You use a burner coil to heat the water before it enters the pump (though most heaters are placed after the pump, some specialized systems feed hot water directly).

• Extended Bypass: If your pump runs in bypass mode (trigger closed) for too long, friction creates heat. High-temp seals offer a “buffer” against this accidental damage.
