Description
The Cat Pumps 33628 is a specialized seal/packing replacement kit designed for the high-pressure “wet end” of specific Cat Pump models (most notably the 3CP Series).
Unlike the diaphragm pumps we discussed earlier, Cat Pumps are triplex plunger pumps. They use solid ceramic plungers to move water, and these seals are what keep the high-pressure water from leaking back into the crankcase or out of the manifold.
