The AR1857 is a high-pressure seal/packing kit designed specifically for Annovi Reverberi (AR) plunger pumps featuring 18mm plungers. This kit is the standard repair solution for “wet end” leaks in the popular XR and XRK series pumps often found on professional-grade pressure washers.

Like the Cat Pump kit we discussed, this is for a triplex plunger pump, which uses solid ceramic rods rather than flexible diaphragms.

When to Install the AR1857 Kit

• The “Water in Oil” Sign: If your pump’s oil turns milky/white, the low-pressure seals have failed, allowing water to bypass the plunger and enter the crankcase.

• External Leaking: Visible water dripping from the bottom of the brass manifold while the pump is running.

• Pressure Loss: If the pump fails to hit its rated PSI or you notice a “shuddering” in the high-pressure hose.

• Squealing Noise: Sometimes caused by dry seals or friction against a worn plunger.
