The connecting rod in the Honda GX340 (11HP) and GX390 (13HP) is a heavy-duty internal component designed to withstand the massive combustion pressures of large-block engines. Given the high torque output of these 337cc–440cc engines, the rod is built with a significantly thicker cross-section than the smaller GX200 series.
