The Comet BXD2527G is an axial triplex pump designed for direct-drive attachment to gasoline engines. It is one of the most common “homeowner” or “light commercial” pumps, often found on pressure washers sold at big-box retailers. Because it is an axial pump, it is more compact and affordable than industrial plunger pumps, but it is also a “throwaway” or “low-maintenance” design, meaning parts are often limited to valves and seals.
