The Cat Pumps Model 530 is a heavy-duty, 5-frame triplex piston pump. While the more common plunger pumps have stationary seals, this piston pump features seals (cups) that move with the piston rod, making it exceptionally effective at “lifting” water (suction) and handling certain abrasive or viscous fluids better than standard plunger designs.
