The 30860 Piston Kit is a critical “wet-end” service component for the Cat Pumps Model 290 (and occasionally the 280). In a piston-style pump, the piston assembly moves back and forth within a stainless steel cylinder to move the fluid. This kit provides the hard-parts hardware needed to secure and support the piston cups.
