The 30210 Piston Kit is a specialized “wet-end” service kit for the Cat Pumps Model 430. Unlike the plunger pumps we’ve discussed (which use a stationary seal and a moving rod), the Model 430 is a piston pump. In this design, the seal (the “cup”) is attached to the moving piston rod and travels back and forth within the cylinder.
