A 1/4″ Hex Head Plug is a solid male-threaded fitting used to seal off a 1/4″ female port. In small-bore plumbing, this is the go-to component for capping extra gauge ports, chemical injector inlets, or unused manifold outlets.

Key Features

• Raised Hex Head: The external six-sided head allows for easy installation and removal with a standard wrench or deep socket. Unlike “countersunk” or “square head” plugs, the hex head is much less likely to strip under high torque.

• 304 Stainless Steel: This material is chosen for its excellent chemical resistance. It is standard for soft wash and industrial cleaning systems because it handles Sodium Hypochlorite (bleach) and soaps without the internal corrosion or “seizing” common with brass or galvanized steel.

• Class 150 (150#) Rating: A cast fitting designed for standard industrial use. While compact, the 150# rating provides enough wall thickness to resist vibration and mechanical stress on a pump skid.

• 1/4″ MPT (Male Pipe Thread): Tapered NPT threads designed to create a tight, wedge-fit seal when threaded into a 1/4″ FPT port.
